Personalized learning
Practice and learning pathways that respond to a student's current understanding, pace, and goals.
Every learner takes a different path.
We're building AI to help students move forward—and teaching teams see how to support them.
Understand what a student knows.
Guidance that builds understanding.
Help teaching teams choose the next step.
A helpful hint for a student. A clearer picture for a teacher. A better-informed conversation across a school.
We're exploring how these moments connect. Our goal is to bring learning support and teaching insight closer together, so AI serves the people at the heart of education.
Our prototypes explore three connected areas.
Each starts with a real learning need.
Practice and learning pathways that respond to a student's current understanding, pace, and goals.
Step-by-step explanations, questions, and feedback designed to help students reason through challenges.
Learning patterns and progress brought into view, helping teaching teams identify where support may be needed.
Help students learn.
Help teaching teams help them.
We're exploring learning experiences where students can ask questions, revisit a concept, and work through a problem at their own pace.
Our focus: understanding, confidence, and independent thinking. We're exploring how to give teaching teams useful context about student progress and difficulties, so they can decide when and how to intervene.
Our focus: useful insight that supports educator judgment.Discuss the challenges your students and teaching teams face, explore our prototype direction, and help identify what a meaningful evaluation could look like.
Our focus: a clear purpose before wider adoption.Proposed capabilities and illustrative workflows. Our prototypes are in development; these are design goals, not a list of released features.
A student’s next learning activity and a teacher’s next decision should draw on the same picture of understanding. That connection is the direction behind Athsolve.
Students in the same classroom can have different gaps in prior knowledge. A fixed sequence of practice may move too quickly for some and repeat what others already understand.
An answer alone can leave a student unsure how to solve the next problem. Feedback needs to respond to the student's reasoning, not only whether the final result is correct.
Teaching teams need more than a final score to understand where students are struggling. Patterns across attempts and concepts can help frame a more useful conversation.
Try a short example of the guided approach we are exploring for intelligent tutoring.
This is a scripted illustration, not a live AI tutor or a demonstration of a released product.
What could you do to both sides to leave the 2x term on its own?
Prompt 1 of 4Prototype development is underway. School pilots and outcome evaluation are proposed next steps, subject to readiness and agreement with participating schools.
Develop prototypes around specific learning tasks and use educator feedback to sharpen the problem we are solving.
Agree on a learner group, subject, learning goals, data requirements, and teacher oversight before a school trial.
Evaluate learning evidence, response quality, teacher usefulness, and usability before considering broader adoption.
How can students verify an explanation? What should a teacher be able to control? What information is necessary for the task? How should uncertainty be shown?
We intend to address these questions through educator review, defined data handling, and careful evaluation as prototypes develop. Deployment arrangements and safeguards would need to be agreed before any school pilot.
The “Ath” in Athsolve comes from Athena.
We're an AI development team working on a simple ambition: make learning support more personal and learning progress easier to understand.
Our work is still taking shape. We're interested in conversations with schools that can help us build around the everyday needs of students and teaching teams.
